Ray is from Lenoir City Tennessee. A graduate of The University of Tennessee (B.A., and J.D.), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Kentucky (Master of Church Music). He is married to Debbie, his wife of twenty-one years, and they have two children, a son, Joshua 19, and a daughter, Micah 15. Ray enjoys sports, the outdoors, and aviation.
